My expectations for the RACE:
- To fall in Love with Jesus all over again and grow in my faith!
- To use my nurse expertise
- To pray for and love on others
- Develop community and amazing friendships
- Learn a new language
- Take more pictures than my computer can store
- Learn how to set up a tent:)
- To pet a cheetah
- Grow my hair so long I’ll be able to donate it when I come back
- Eat all types of food
- Memorize more scripture
- Confront my insecurities
- To laugh and Cry a lot!
- To gain a better understanding
- To let go of all my expectations
- To scream at the top of my lungs when I see a spider in my sleeping bag
- Learn to live without my fan I have to have to sleep every night
- To get a tan
- Forget about Facebook
- To turn to God for strength before I turn to family and friends
