Write it down and pass it around

In this one every teammate is going to need a piece of paper with their name written on the back. Whoever is running feedback will be responsible for which direction the paper moves. Start by sending the paper in one direction of the other. Keep passing until each person has had a chance to write on everyone’s paper. Each time the paper is passed a new question/command is given. Questions/commands can be serious or funny. Some of them we have used are:

  • A Bible verse
  • A song/song lyric
  • A word God has for them
  • A gifting or anointing they have
  • A word of encouragement
  • A challenge for the day/week/month
  • If this person were a super hero what would their name and super power be?
  • If this person were an animal what would they be and why?
  • If this person had a role in a school what would it be and why?

Feel free to be as creative or serious with your questions. Also, be prepared for a lot of laughs when the person reads their answers aloud at the end!

Highs and Lows

For this one team members share their high and low moments of the day. Other team members can discuss or speak into each moment if they feel lead.

Questions leading into the next month

Close to the end of the current month we have it can be beneficial to start praying into the next month on the Race. We have done this one a few ways:

  1. During a worship set (done by IPod music so everyone can participate) questions are given for each team member to ask the Lord about individually. When worship is over everyone shares their responses. Questions we have used are:
    1. What has God taught me this month?
    2. What am I struggling with?
    3. What parts of my heart do I need to prepare for next month?
    4. Where does God want to see me grow next month?
    5. Where should my focus be next month?
    6. Is there a person I am going to meet next month that I should begin praying for now?

**You do not have to answer all these questions in one feedback session. Pick 2-4 that speak to your team. **

  1. Each teammate pulls a name and spends some time asking God what He has for this person the following month.

Monologue

Each person on the team is asked to write a monologue about where they are at right in this moment. The beautiful thing about a monologue is that it can be as literal or abstract as you want. Give the assignment a few days to a week before you want to have your share night. Monologues allow you the opportunity to see where your team members are at and speak into their lives if need be. It also allows God creativity to be grown in them.
