My mother is incredible. Today is all about celebrating her. Today I would like to share something she has written so you all can celebrate her too. And for you mothers out there, I really think this post will hit home. Happy Mother's Day!

I remember clearly all the times I have been here before – the medical diagnosis on day 1, the death of her dad at age 3, the first day of school, driving away at 16, moving out for college. Terrified, exhilarated and finally humbled as each time I laid her upon that altar.
This time next year she will be halfway around the world in parts unknown to me. She is crazy about Jesus and fearless about telling others of Him. She sees the ones that no one else notices. She is ready.
So, once again I will walk this trail and I will offer her to the only One who loves her more than me. I will place my life into His hands and I will leave her there. Maybe this time I will even enjoy the view.
