So today marks 1 week since i got back from my 10 day training in Georgia for my 9 month missions trip. I would have posted sooner but I’ve been fairly sick. During training, I learned so much about myself and about what God has in store for me and for that I am absolutely stoked. In brief, I can honestly say that training was one of the most difficult yet fulfilling weeks of my life. For starters, I am so excited about the squad that God has hand picked to go on this trip. I love every single one of my squad mates and I can’t wait to heal the nations with them. In more ways than one they helped me so much during those 10 days and definitely brought out the absolute best in me. Through them and God I was able to be stretched far more than I ever was before and that was only 10 days, can you imagine 9 months?! Like seriously, I was able to preach a mini sermon, finish my hiking test 15 minutes early and so much more. I can’t wait to experience what God has in store for me and I am so excited that you all get to be a part of it through prayer, good thoughts, subscriptions to my blog and donations! That being said, I need your help! So far I am 53% funded which means I already have 7,040 raised and that is amazing! That means to reach my next goal of 10,000 by SEPTEMBER 16th , i only need to raise 2,960. To some of you, that might seam like a crazy amount but to put it in perspective, over $7000 was raised already in only 2 short months! From now until launch i plan to hit the ground running with fundraising and i would love it if you all could be a part of it. If God has put it on your heart to donate I encourage you to do so as soon as possible so that I will make my pre launch deadline. I have seriously received donations as little as $5 so ANYTHING helps. If money isn’t your thing though, prayer is absolutely accepted!! I will be posting more details about these soon but I already have fundraising nights set up with Sweetfrog, Chick-fil-a, and lonestarBBQ all in westminster so I would love it if you could come out to those!
