(Pictures to come soon!)Hey Everyone!
I have about 3 videos that I really want to post but our internet access is quite limited this month so they may have to wait!  As for now, I am in MOLDOVA!  I hadn’t even heard of this country until I was told that I would be going there for the month!
Moldova is the poorest country in Eastern Europe.  The city that we are in is called Cornesti and we are working with a man named Vitali.  Vitali has a vision to open 30 churches in thirty years, he calls it Sinai 30.  The work that we will be doing for the rest of this month includes house visits, helping with a children’s program, and clearing land.  The land that will be cleared is owned by the church and we will build some shelter for Marmots.  Apparently Marmot meat is the highest priced meat in Moldova.  Vitali plans for us to build shelter for these animals so that he can raise and sell them.  This money will allow them to be self-sufficient.  On top of opening these churchs Vitali has also opened up a home that is connected to the church for orphans.
At this moment there are only 15 orphans living here and their ages range from 10-19.  Some of these kids play big roles in the Sinai 30 vision and are actively invovled with this church.  Vitali’s heart is so big and he is full of so much energy.  I am very excited to be working here for the month and helping in anyway I can!
LOVE!
