All of this change has got me thinking.. You would think that it would only be overwhelming and to be honest, it is. Its overwhelming to think that God may be calling me into a “support raised” life. Support raising is not my favorite topic. Lets be honest, it gets in the way of our pride, our fear of rejection, our independence, and everything else that human nature comes along with….
But…. that’s where I have to learn to get past my human nature… and tap into my DNA.
Because, this lifestyle is also overwhelming in a good way… Its overwhelming that God has chosen me to take part in something bigger than myself, something bigger than human nature… Its overwhelming that God has transformed my life in the past 3 years and I had no control over it… He is inviting me and you… to take part in The KINGDOM.
The truth is; God does’t need us… He WANTS us and He has given us an invitation to take part in writing history…
I don’t like asking for money.. But, that comes along with the role I play in The Kingdom.. and because God totally transformed my life when I had no control over it; what makes me think He can’t take control of my support raising? I just have to be obedient.
With that said; I know that all of our roles look different. So I am posting this knowing that some of you reading this play the role of supporting missionaries like me…..
