God works in funny ways. I was beginning to write this blog and share how difficult it is to trust God to provide me with a job. Then I received a phone call from my cooperating teacher from my second placement of student teaching. She was calling to ask if I could substitute teach for her class all week next week. Wow. It is like God was saying “Kamie, you can trust me, and I will provide for you.” The very thought of him saying that to me makes me want to shed tears of joy. That when I need him most to prove to me that he is there and is handling things for me, he shows up and gives me just what I need. Yes it is just a substitute teaching job. But it is a job. And if he can give that to me when I need it most, won’t he provide another job too? And even though the funds for the World Race seem to have suddenly come to a stop after weeks of flowing like a stream, won’t he also unplug the stream so it will flow again? Yes, though it is hard to trust him at times, he will show up and provide us with all we need and more. He may not always give us what we want, but he will always give us what we need. And though it is difficult, I will hold on and trust him, because he is a God who does not lie.

Thank you Lord!!!! For always showing me that you care, and taking care of my needs.
