Last month was one of the hardest months on the Race for me. But it was also one of the most memorable and the most encouraging.
I heard from the Lord so much and one of the things he told me to do was write a blog about the need for missionaries in Romania.
This has been one of the hardest blogs for me to write for many reasons.
~I have never written a blog like this before.
~I know I am not called to serve in Romania, so why should I ask other people to go there?
~What if nobody responds to it? What if nobody goes to Romania?
All of these are lies to keep me from being obedient.
I have written and deleted this blog about 4 times. I don’t know the right words to say. But God keeps telling me to write. So here it is. Hopefully the 5th time is the charm.

Last month we had the privilege of working with Hope Church. This church has such an amazing love for Romania. The leadership has a beautiful vision and plan for spreading the love of Jesus in the country. And I 100% believe that it can happen. But they need more workers. More people who want to see our Lord glorified in the dark places.

Each morning we started our day with two hours of prayer. And every day at least one of the prayer requests was for someone to come and fill a need. The needs ranged from a church planter, or a kid’s club leader, or a prayer warrior to a college ministry leader or small business leader. The list goes on and on.
The missionaries who are already there are absolutely incredible. My team had the opportunity to travel around to different villages and meet them. They quickly became some of my favorite people. Each one of them had the same prayer request, more workers.

I cannot put into words how much I love the people in Romania, and how badly I want their prayer to be answered.
So here I am writing this blog, because God told me to. I am not writing to a specific person. Honestly I don’t even know how many people will read this. But I know God wants me to write and ask. Ask that you will consider what it might look like to go to Romania. Or even dedicate part of your time praying for people to go to Romania.
I know its not my words that are going to change hearts and call people to this beautiful country. Only God can do that. But I can at least expose a need, the need for people who love God and want to see him glorified.

So if you have a passion to plant churches or lead kids or help women who were in prostitution, there is a place for you in Romania.
Pray about it, ask God what he wants for you. If it is in Romania or not, follow his voice.
But please keep praying for this church and its vision. Pray for people to come, for encouragement and for God to be glorified above all.
