This morning I woke up determined to write a blog despite my tossing in turning attempt to sleep in my hammock before crawling into my tent at 4 am.

I’ve got a lovely running list of blog ideas ready to be expanded upon for moments when I ‘feel like blogging’ or ‘have some spare time’. And some of them are pretty funny titles if I do say so myself!
But lately that’s all i’ve been able to come up with- silly titles.
If you know me, that’s pretty strange considering I could talk for hours and even leave voice mails so long that I have to start over 3 times! (i’m thinking of you Kaitlynn ;P)
So as I struggled to come up with some mediocre blog I decided to stop. I didn’t want to put something out into the world that is just ‘alright’. My desire is to use blogging as an avenue to glorify Christ by sharing not only what He is teaching me, but also encouragement for whoever is reading this to live for Christ as well!
My solution? Go read blogs.
Not just any blogs however, World Race blogs. I went back to what fuels my passion for this mission like nothing else! Blog after blog i’m reminded of why I was called to the race, what i’m excited about, and even getting some helpful tips along the way! When I start to read the different stories of people around the world praying for each other, healing the sick, feeding the poor, loving on orphans, and sharing their raw vulnerability something within me ignites.
Blogs are the gasoline to my Holy Spirit fire.
I know what you’re thinking, “Kalie, get to the point. How does talking about blogs glorify Christ or encourage me?”
The point is, find what sparks your passion, and use it to drive you forward like never before!
We live in such an incredible time where we literally have every resource possible to do whatever we are called to do!
We serve such a powerful and limitless God that has put different gifts and passions in us, that we have access to His power to do anything.
God has called YOU to chase your dreams and do the ‘impossible’ so that His name is made greater.
So surround yourself with those inspirational pinterest quotes.
Take the time to maintain friendships with the dreamers and the doers.
Get out there and chase your dreams.
