Hey, I’m Kali! As in Kay-lee. not Callie–like the state. 🙂I was born in South Carolina and have lived here my whole life. For the first 5 years of life I lived in Hartsville. or Harts-vegas if you will. I then moved to Florence about 30 minutes away and that’s where I grew up. I now live in Columbia, about an hour from home, where I go to the University of South Carolina…a.k.a. the best school in the world. I am majoring in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management, and for the most part am not interested in working in any of those areas.
I suppose I have a large family. There’s 9 of us, mom, dad, 2 boys and 5 girls. and I have a twin sister. I really really love my family. We’re pretty tight and they are super important to me.
Let’s see, I cheered and played soccer in high school and I miss them both a bunch. I love the beach and spent a lot of time there growing up, but since being in college I’ve spent a lot more time in the mountains and realize I also love them. I enjoy doing things like skiing and snowboarding, white water rafting, hiking, playing sports. I’m not particularly good at anything, I just really enjoy doing those types of things.
I am involved with the YoungLife organization if you’ve heard of it. I’m a Wyldlife leader, which means I lead middle school girls. and I am obsessed with them. I also have a really awesome church family and so most of my time goes to those 2 things, besides school and a job. I also love love love little kids, music, food..particularly junk food, football, coffee, and pictures. among other things.
I love meeting new people and getting to know them and hearing about people’s lives. I also really appreciate when someone shows that they want to get to know me.
and I’m super pumped about getting to share the love of Jesus with people all over the world!!!
