I've had several weeks of intense spiritual blogs now, so I thought I'd share some pictures with y'all this time around!

Every Wednesday night, I help as an assistant in my church's Daisies Club, a program for kindergarten to second grade girls.  Daisies is a fun class where these young girls learn how to pray, sing songs, memorize scripture, and have FUN!  Recently, they started a new series on missions (WOOHOO!) and I have been able to share my preparation process with them.

Last night, the girls found all of my countries on a world map and then created prayer chains to take home with them.  Each chain has my name and each of the countries, so the girls can remember to pray for me and the people I will meet around the world whenever they see it!

(Sorry for the poor quality of these photos.  My little flip phone can only do so much!)

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
Matthew 19:14

This makes my heart SO HAPPY for several reasons…

First, God loves these little girls, and I know He hears and answers their prayers about me and my trip!  The first time I heard one of the girls in this class pray aloud for me and my trip, I just about melted into a puddle right there on the floor.  When the parents tell me that their girls pray for me regularly, it makes me feel loved!

Second, I am blessed and honored to give these girls a first-hand look at missions.  I am excited to send the class pictures and stories during my time overseas so that mission work becomes more tangible and real to them at a young age.  It is fun to answer their questions about different countries, and I love to watch them as they begin to understand the importance of sharing Jesus with those who don't know Him.

Third, as I post pictures of these little girls who have become so precious to me, my heart cannot help but dream about the children around the world whose faces will appear on my blog in the months ahead.  Just as I've been  singing songs and dancing and crafting with these dear friends, I will be able to share Jesus with children all over the world!  I am blessed to know this class of young prayer warriors, and I am blessed to be able to love on kids in 11 different countries.  I can't wait to see what God has in store!

In other news, God is providing the finances for this trip at an incredibly fast rate!  I have already received over $9,600 in pledges and/or donations in just nine weeks!!!  I still have to raise $5,877.70 to cover the cost for this trip, so if God lays it on your heart to help send me out by supporting me financially, click "Support Me" on the left to make a tax-deductible donation. Or, cut out the 3% online processing fee by writing a check to "Adventures in Missions" with "WARDKALEIGH" in the info line and mailing it to:
