I figure that you all might be wondering who in the world I'm bunking and living with on this crazy journey I call life! Well let me break it down for you, like a family tree. My squad is made up of 56 people, 19 guys and 37 girls! Each and everyone loves traveling, eating, sleeping, serving and spreading the LOVE of Christ all across the globe!
On July 14, 2012 this whole sha-bang started! TRAINING CAMP!!! We met up in Toccoa Falls, Georgia – to me it truly seemed like a family reunion but the catch was we had never met one another! God brought us all to one place to become better equipped to serve Him as we ventured out into this 11 month adventure! We did life together one short week! Seminars, worship and team building activities were three of our main focuses. AIM staff tried to make training camp as much like other countries as possible. We slept on a school bus(gear and all), ate dinner at a replica of an Indian market, it down poured rain which was a great way to test out our gear and tents and shower! All around training camp was a great kickstart to this journey! A once in a lifetime trip I never thought I would be apart of!

56 brothers and sisters make up my new Jesus freak, crazy for Christ, adventure seeking, unified, loud and boisterous family! On this journey we will seek the Kingdom, serve our Abba Father, spread and show Christ's love through the nations and grow in our personal relationship with our Heavenly Father!

Meeting these 6 other wonderful people in July, four months ago, was amazing and is now one of the BIGGEST blessings on this trip! We have all been learning how to prefer others, to be unoffendable, live a missionary lifestyle and on a missionary budget and adapt to "world race culture". Everyday we learn something new!
Ladies and gentlemen, I give to you PATRICE DEATON our female squad leader! WHOOP-WHOOP!!! Momma P , as I call her is a spunky & funny woman that loves God with her whole heart! Her and Justin teach us along the way how to do things with travel, missions and life! They both pour into us and our team leaders! So blessed to have them living life with us and preparing us to better serve the people we come encounter with!

COACHES WANDA AND STEVE – Our wonderful coaches! We are so blessed to have such a remarkable couple to set a beautiful Christ like example in day to day life and in their marrriage! Wanda and Steve come and visit us at the end of months 2,4,6,8 & 10 and see how we are all doing, fill us and pour into us! When they are back in the states they continue to pray for us, keep in contact with us and help in whatever way possible! The two of them have beautiful hearts and are so gracious to serve, bless and prefer us during these debiefs and this 11 month adventure!
TIM FIZZELL is our squad coordinator! He is awesome and has fiery red hair! He coordinates everything to do with our ministry hosts.
Thanks to all of you for being amazing role models and beautiful brothers and sisters in Christ! I look forward seeing what the future hold for us all and exploring these next 8 countries together! So excited to learn from each one of you and pour into each other! <3
