Some of you may be wondering how you can help, so today my blog is dedicated to informing you on the ways you can do exactly that!

I need to raise $16,000 dollars. IN SIX MONTHS. At least that is my goal. I want to be fully funded before I launch in January. I know this seems like a big undertaking but I am more than confident that the Lord will provide. I mentioned in a previous blog that I had sold several of my things and raised a little over $2,000 dollars. Which is awesome, but I also have to purchase some things like travel gear, a new laptop, vaccinations, and airfare to my launch, etc. With that being said I need additional funds from YOU to help make this happen I can’t do this without each and every one of you who are reading this right now!

 

So here is the breakdown of the dates that I need to have the money by! Keep in mind I want to be fully funded before my launch in January!

  • $3,500 – Due 2 weeks before Training Camp (Date to be determined)
  • $7,500 – Due 12/18/2014 (2 weeks prior to your trip)
  • $11,000 – Due 4/1/2015 (End of 3 months on the field)
  • $15,500.00 + $742.60 (*Insurance) = $16,242.60 – Total Due 7/1/2015 (End of 6 months on the field)

  • By check
    • Checks must be made payable to Adventures in Missions
    • Write this on the memo line: Appealed by Kalah Shockley

    • Checks may take up to two weeks to be processed
  • Donating online
    • You can donate directly online through this blog!
    • Donations by credit/debit will be subject to a 3% processing fee, while bank drafts will be subject to a 2% processing fee
    • These can take between 3-5 days to process
    • You can set up a reoccurring donation! You will be prompted to select a start date and an end date for your donation. The donations will automatically stop at end date, if one is selected
    • Stop your reoccurring donation after my 6th month on the field (June 2015). Any donations made after that month will NOT be counted towards the final deadline.
  • Donating with Dynapay
    • An option for donating through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) which allows you to set up a monthly donation through your personal checking account
    • Go to this website: https://www.adventures.org/dynapay and complete the required fields
    • Donations typically take 1-2 weeks to be processed
    • Withdrawn on either the 3rd or the 18th of the month
    • No processing fee charged

 

If 10 of you give $100 that’s $1,000. If 20 of you give $50 that’s $1,000. If 40 of you give $25 that’s $1,000. No amount is too small! I appreciate every single gift that has already been given and those that are going to come.
