Have you ever realized how May can be one of the slowest and
fastest months of the year for students?
The anticipation of summer and new things to come as well as the long
check list of things that need to get done before the freedom of summer often
attribute to this phenomena.  May
is filled with dreaded finals and hours of writing papers for every seasoned
college student.  May is filled with new engagements (congrats Ashley!),
weddings, and new beginnings as graduates prepare for takeoff.

Even though I am no longer a student, May has taken a
similar role as years past.  The
busyness of the month has not left much room for reflection more less writing
blogs.  On any given day we are
working in the prisons, in the hospitals, with the children’s ministry, with
the youth ministry, with the ancients, at the drug and alcohol rehab, sharing
testimonies in front of large groups, speaking on a national Christian radio
station, doing street ministry, evangelizing any and everywhere, advertizing
the church’s radio and t.v. channel around El Salvador and leading devotions in
schools.  Are you out of breath in
reading that sentence?  That is how
our team feels as we hit the pillow every night.  We have witnessed lives being changed, addictions being
broken, and sight being restored (literally).

All of this to say, God is good. All the time. It is His
nature. And absolutely nothing we do can change that.
