Our month in Latvia was the first time the World Race has been sent to the country. My team lived in Liepaja, a 5 minute walk from the Baltic Sea. We served alongside a local church doing Pathfinders, babysitting nights, making skits that were used for ministries, youth events and worship nights, visiting the largest kindergarten in all of Latvia, Messy Church, presentations at local high schools and living life in community with another team.
This month was wonderful and it was so great to see snow for the first time in 11 months and for the first time ever for a few people! It was a blessing to be in a country that is very musical and living life in the music capital of the country.
