As I sit in coffee shops, I always look to see if there are a side of fries (or chips) to order.  Coffee and fries are some of my favorite things to enjoy when I am on the computer or visiting with friends.  I did not think that this was odd until one day when we were in Ho Chi Minh City.  We were waiting at the bus stop when I looked across the street and saw "Coffee and Fries".  I don't think I was ever so excited.  I, of course, made a big scene and was so excited.  My teammates and those that were passing by were questioning my behavior.  I did not care.  I was so excited!

So one day I went on a date with a teammate and we went to go and explore this fabulous place.  As we walked closer and closer, my mouth was so excited and I was giddy with excitement!  When we finally reached the location and sat down, I opened the menu and started looking for a coffee to order and to see how much the fries cost.

As I looked, I became confused.  There were so many pages of different coffee drinks, but no fries.  Was there a sign on the wall?

I asked the waiter, when he came to take our order, how much the fries were.  He replied that they do not have fries.

What?

What do you mean you don't have fries?
That is false advertisement!

The waiter then went on to say how he did not start the business, but that after a while of serving that they discovered that coffee and fries do not belong together.

I think they are crazy.  Who would not want to have coffee and fries together?

Obviously, I am not alone.  There is at least one other person in the world who enjoys a nice cup of coffee and a plate of fries.

So, because of my liking for coffee and fries, I looked around at my team and saw what other things they enjoy just as much, or talk about a lot.

Mothers, fathers, friends, brothers, sisters, family, acquaintances, enjoy.  I have enjoyed spending time with your lovelies for the past 5 months and am looking forward to finishing the next 3 months with them.  I love them all dearly.
