Sometimes on the World Race, you have the opportunity to take a few days during the month to go on little "vacations" to sightsee. Last month, while we were in Romania, we realized that we were only about a 6 hour train ride from Budapest, the capital of Hungary. So we went! (Obviously.) We were there for 3 days and 2 nights, which included 2 full days of sightseeing from a double-decker tourist bus!! Tourists for the win. Here are some of my pictures of this beautiful city.
This has probably been one of my favourite places to visit so far in my travels. It has so much history, culture and beauty, all rolled into one. If you ever get a chance to visit, I highly recommend it!
