How do I even begin to describe my excitement? I've already fundraised my first goal (which is due in June) and I've almost reached my second goal – which means I will be able to launch in September with the rest of my squad!!!
Yeah… it's happening.
My approximate grand total is $6, 300! And that's not including the profits from the tshirts and bracelets that I've been selling. A more accurate grand total will be posted soon 🙂 How exciting is that! I can't believe it's really happening. Thank you so much for all of your support so far – it's more encouraging than you know and it makes me so much more excited to go on the trip and be able to share with you my experiences as they're happening.
Another fundraising opportunity is happening on Victoria Day in 2 weeks! If you're American, you won't understand – it's a Canadian holiday 😉 Anyways, in the town where I grew up, we have a huge garage sale day on the Victoria Day Monday. Which means that I will be having a huge garage sale to raise money for the WR! I love garage sales. To those who have donated stuff to sell, thank you! I'll keep you updated on the results of this fundraising venture.
