Don’t go changing waterfalls
Please stick to the rivers and the streams that you’re use too ….(RECORD SCRATCH)
Wait….

GO chase waterfalls, DON’T stick to the rivers and the streams that you’re use too because life is crazy and there’s so much out there… all you have to do is look.

These past two days I’ve become in awe of what my life has become. If you would have asked me this time last year what I would be doing with my life my answer would be no where near where I am right now.

Crazy things happen when you follow Gods plan huh?

Two days ago we traveled up to a little town where the ministry we are working with is trying to build a preschool. To get there we had to ride jeepneys, trikes and walk through piles of mud and rivers. We climbed up waterfalls and swam for hours. We ate lumpia and rice on rocks with running water flowing beneath or feet (quite Heavenly).
On our way back down the next morning our team rode on top of the jeepney. It was rainy and cold (which is like 70 here in Asia LOL) but so worth every minute. I could not contain the smile on my face even when my feet got caught in the trees and I almost fell right into the muddy puddles.

We have been up to our knees here with ministry and it’s such an amazing feeling and experience. I’m writing this here at the mega mall which is like 5 stories high with everything you can imagine sitting in Starbucks. We don’t live near wifi so my updating is usually done in Starbucks (not complaining because I love my coffee.

With a whole team trying to FaceTime sometimes talking to my peeps back home is even more hard because a full conversation is pretty much non existent. These last few weeks have been the best and hardest ones in the race. I’ve been experiencing things I would dream of from looking at travel magazines. With the Holidays coming up there is a soft spot in my heart that sometimes aches for a little bit of home, for a split second I am sad but I am quickly filled with joy from my crazy spunky team and this amazing opportunity the lord has given me.

I know this blog is all over the place but that’s okay because so is my life.
I’m still working on being fully funded and the truth is that it is HARD. I thought being overseas would for some reason make it easier, boy was I fooled.

I ask that you please join me in prayer for the funds to come in and help me spread my blog, pictures and anything else.
Please prayerfully consider donating because any amount helps!!

Stay tuned for a more put together blog and thanks for reading and being apart of this journey with me.
I wouldn’t trade this life for anything else, I am one happy human being.
