So you’re probably wondering why I dropped off the face of the earth for that last couple of weeks… (Sorry about that) but me and one of my teammates Kaitlyn decided to fast our phones after debrief to help us dive into life here in Kombinat and BOY OH BOY have we dived, front flipped and even belly flopped into our new little community.

. We wake up around 8:30 every morning to have a groggy breakfast of cornflakes/oatmeal and bananas and then energize ourselves up with a little team yoga (this is a recent interest of ours). We then head off to whatever ministry is in store for us. We have been doing all different sorts of things from teaching English, helping kids with their homework, music lessons, making jewelry for medical needs, helping out around the pastors home and just meeting random people at coffee shops to make friends with. Our ministry days usually end anywhere from 3-5 and then we get to hang out as the weird, crazy, rambunctious family we are.

We get to spend a lot of our time here with the youth which is super rad because as we pour into them they pour right back and just bless us in so many ways.

Kombinat has become my new home and I’m smiling from ear to ear about it. God is working and spreading joy all around this little town.

I’m still 3,700 away from my deadline and am asking you to prayerfully consider donating and sharing my blog so I can keep learning all about the love of the Lord.
Thanks so much in advance
Lots of love (~:
