When I was younger I used to dream of days when I would be a dance instructor or dance on Broadway. I spent so much of my time dancing, taking tap, jazz, and ballet classes.

This dream didn’t last too long though, by the time I was in High School I started to dream about being a Dentist, and many other things. I still danced for my school dance team, but after high school my dancing career had ended.

Yes, I still love dancing, but I had forgot about that dream, thinking it would be unrealistic for me to now dream of being on Broadway or become a dance instructor.

This month in Albania, we were asked to put on a summer camp for kids ages 6-15. This camp offered Art, Dance, Theatre, Sport, and Water game classes. Can you guess which one I was eager to teach?

Dance! For these past couple weeks, I have gotten to be a dance teacher, and my 12-year-old self was in love. Very nervous at first, because I haven’t danced in so long, but the class went so well, and the kids loved it.

I got to build such sweet relationships with the students, and show them the love of Jesus.

I am just amazed at how God can make every dream come true, even those you have long forgot about. And especially those you feel unqualified to do. It was such a sweet reminder to never stop dreaming, and to never give up on old dreams.

God will and can use anything! Any lost passions you have, are wonderful tools the Lord can use to bring Him glory.
