Guat’s up? 10 things that we’ve been up to in October.

  1. Philippines vs. Guatemala Olympics- After the Philippines Team spent a month with us in Guatemala, we ended their time here with some friendly competition. This was a perfect way to wrap up and seal what the Lord had done in all of us as we spent time together outside, playing sports and building team comradery.

  2. The Liettes Renewed their Vows- Our two newest additions, Brady and Kimberly Liette, celebrated their two year anniversary by standing before us and God and renewed their vows of marriage. The Guatemala Team pulled together a beautiful wedding ceremony in just under 2 hours, complete with a bright colorful flowers and a richly frosted donut cake.

  1. Clint Bokelman Wuz Here– We are so honored to have Clint Bokelman come visit the Guatemala Base for a few days. This man of God is one of the main reasons why this base is standing here today. He has fought for us, casted vision for us, encouraged us, prayed for us, and has spoken the vision that the Lord has given him for this extension of the Kingdom.

  2. Tony Deien and His Boys Came to Visit– Tony Deien, founder of Zion’s Gate Ministries in Honduras, brought two of the boys from his ministry here to Guatemala for a few days. They came to check out the base and get a vision for how the Lord is connecting the body of Christ together; merging our two ministries and creating a bridge between Guatemala and Honduras.

  3. Team Guat Now has Wheels! – Thank you so much to all of our financial supporters; we have been able to purchase a much-needed van because of your help! We call her “the cloud” because she is big, white and fluffy! We love her and we are so thankful for having a means of transportation for traveling around Guatemala.

  4. Misha Learned How to Shake- Our team pup has a new trick!

  5. Murder Mystery Halloween Party- We have been spending a lot of time here in Antigua with an Adventures in Missions Passport team of young girls taking a gap year in between high school and college. They hosted us for an all inclusive murder mystery Halloween party where we all had a chance to dress up in character and solve the mystery of the night… who did it?? Dun dun dun.

  6. Season of Fasting and Praying- This month, the Father has called us as a team to new and deeper places into who He is and what He is doing here in Guatemala. He has more revelations of His love that He wants to give us, and we are here waiting to receive whatever comes our way. He is asking us to walk further into His spirit, deeper into hearing and trusting His voice.

  7. Roller Coaster and Skates- The Lord released the Guatemala team for a day of fun and adventure in the city. Tapping into our adventurous sides, the team geared up to ride a terrifying roller coaster in the mall as well as skate the night away at the local roller rink.

  8. Escobar Family- The Lord has blessed us with a family that is truly after the Father’s heart, the Escobar Family. Claudia, Fernando, and Sergio have been faithful attendees of our discipleship group that we hold every Saturday afternoon.
