Yes, I just chose a Peter Pan quote to display at the top of my blog…maybe it will change, because I'm known to change my mind often, but right now I am really digging it.
Here’s why:
“For if we have been joined with Him (Jesus) in the likeness of His death, we will certainly also be in the likeness of His resurrection. For we know that our old self was crucified with Him in order so that sin’s dominion over the body may be abolished, so that we may no longer be enslaved to sin, since a person who has died is freed from sin’s claims. Now, if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with Him, because we know that Christ having been raised from the dead, no longer dies. Death no longer rules over Him. For in that He died, He died to sin once for all; but in that He lives, He lives to God. So, you too consider yourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.” Romans 6:5-11
-If we are joined with Jesus in His death, we will also be joined with Jesus in His resurrection.
-If we are resurrected with Jesus, sin no longer rules over us.
-If we have died to our sin – we live with Jesus.
-If we are dead to sin, we are alive to God.-
We wake up every single day with a choice.
To die to sin is to be made alive to God; therefore, to live in sin is…
No, I’d rather die.
To die will be an awfully big adventure.
