“Every place upon which the sole of your foot shall tread, that have I given to you…” Joshua 1:3
That have I given you. Joshua looked out on what the Lord had promised him. The Lord didn’t say he wouldn’t face obstacles. He didn’t say there wouldn’t be battles. He didn’t say it was a land no one else would contend him for.
But He said, “I will be with you; I will not fail you…be strong…take courage…” (Joshua 1:5-6)
And EVERY place upon which the sole of our feet shall tread, THAT He has given us.
He’s promised us things…just as He promised Joshua.
But we can’t just stand afar and look at them. We can’t just admire how beautiful they sound.
We have to place our foot on them. We have to walk in them. We take ownership by walking them.
I met up with my team today in Washington D.C! So excited for what God has for each of them individually and us as a team. We are preparing to launch out into much more than just a physical journey.
Later in Joshua, the Lord says this; “Prepare your provisions, for within THREE days you shall pass over this Jordan to go in to take possession of the land which the Lord your God is giving you.” (Joshua 1:11b)
And yeah, we leave Friday
(THREE DAYS!!!!)
Quito, Ecuador, here we come!!
