I have some exciting news to share with you and I have been waiting patiently (trying anyway) to share with you for a few weeks now….

Take a second if you haven’t already and take a look at the green bar at the top of the screen…

It’s no lie.

Since being accepted on the Race I’ve been imagining what it would be like to say ‘I’m fully funded!’ and what it would feel like to write this specific blog post. So today I am humbled, amazed, ecstatic, in awe, full of gratitude, completely blown away and overjoyed to share that…

I. AM. FULLY. FUNDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Yes, it’s okay to use that many exclamation marks for this occasion!)

Go ahead and join in with me  by doing a happy dance!!! πŸ™‚

I am absolutely and completely blown away by how the Lord has literally been taking care of every single need for this trip down to the penny. And the thing that baffles my mind is that the money is still coming in.

I honestly don’t have words to explain how this happened except to say that it was God. It was all Him. I officially started fundraising the beginning of October, and in just over 6 months the Lord provided the total dollar amount needed ($16,285) and more. Unless something should come up, at this point I have enough money to cover the rest of my expenses including vaccines, the last of my gear left to purchase, as well as a plane ticket to launch).

Wow. Wow. Wow.

PRAISE THE LORD!!

I am seriously speechless. I have nothing to say but God is so so stinking good.

And I want to say thank YOU!

Thank you for lifting me up in prayer.

Thank you for every dollar you’ve given, whether it was $5, $50, $150, $500, or $1,000. THANK YOU!

Thanks to all who helped with my 5K fundraiser in some way whether it was donating food, handing out water to runners/walkers, or helping make posters. And of course to those who came out and ran/walked! You know you have awesome friends when they’ll drive 2-3 hours to come run in a 5k to support you even though they don’t necessarily enjoy running! πŸ™‚ Thank you thank you thank you!

Thank you for purchasing and wearing an 11n11 t-shirt! (I still have some if you’d like one!) πŸ™‚

Thank you to my Grandma’s church in Gridley for putting on a luncheon fundraiser for my trip – that meant so much to me. I still am sad I had to miss it.

Thank you to the churches and groups who welcomed me in and allowed me to share about this calling the Lord has put so strongly on my heart.

Thank you to those who gave or donated towards my needed gear such as my pack, tent, sleeping bag, and etc.

Thank you for going with me on this insanely awesome journey that God has called me too!

What I have loved most about this fundraising process is that it wasn’t just 1 person or 10 people that got me to this place of being fully funded. Just through my World Race account alone, over 80 people donated money. This doesn’t include people who purchased t-shirts from me, sent money to me personally, those who ran in my 5k fundraiser or who attended the fundraiser that my Grandma’s church held for me….

I’d say well over 200 people have given in some way towards my Race. Isn’t that incredible?! Truly the body of Christ coming together and it is absolutely beautiful. Seriously, without YOU, I would not be going on the Race. Because of you, I can fulfill the calling the Lord has placed on my life.

THANK YOU for being in this with me. I couldn’t do it without you.

**Please do not send money to my World Race account anymore! πŸ™‚

With that being said, our first financial deadline is coming up and I have some dear squadmates still needing funds to meet that deadline. Please consider supporting these amazing people. If you feel led to do so, please get in touch with me! And just for fun, get to know my squates, the people who I will be spending these 11 months with, by clicking on this LINK. They’re pretty awesome!

Training camp is in 18 DAYS! Please be praying for myself and the entire D squad as we prepare!

Thank you for your endless love and support. It means the world to me!
