This blog post is more of an informational post than anything!
One of the great things about the World Race is that every Racer has a blog. Why is this a good thing? Because it allows me to be able to share with you in this adventure every step of the way. As my friend, family member, encourager, financial supporter, and prayer warrior, it seems only fair for you to know what is going on. It is my goal to keep you all as updated as possible about what is going on throughout this whole process…even with the support raising and financial side of things.
With that being said, here is an update on what fundraisers I have going on and what is coming up!
Fundraiser : Operation T-Shirts
My first fundraiser is well under way and will wrap up on November 11.
I set a goal to sell 100 t-shirts – I am currently at 57!!!
If you would like to purchase a t-shirt please let me know before the 11th as that is the date I will place the order. This is a pre order so I do not actually have the shirts yet. Once I place the order it should take 7-9 business days for me to receive the shirts. $11 on 11/11 Day
If you haven’t noticed, the number 11 is kind of a theme of the World Race. 11 Countries. 11 Months. 11n11. And as you know, November 11 (11/11) is approaching us. In honor of this day, I am declaring it as $11 on 11/11 Day. If you should choose to participate and want to give $11 on November 11 please go to kacieccles.theworldrace.org and click on the “Support Me” tab on the left hand side of the page!
$11 can go a long ways!
If 10 people give $11 = $110.
If 25 people give $11 = $275
If 40 people give $11 = $440
And so on and so forth….

And speaking of donations….
I checked my World Race account last night and was completely blown away. I have a total of $2,415 in my account right now. Do you know what that means? The amount I started out with to raise was $16,285…. it is now down to $13,870!!!! I have reached the 13 mark!
I also wanted to note that this number doesn’t include any of the t-shirt money I have raised so far, or money that people have given me personally to go towards needed gear and equipment, vaccinations, and other expenses that the $16,285 doesn’t cover. If you read my blog post I Need You you will find the different ways in which you can give if you are being led to do so, as well as a little bit more detail of what expenses the $16,285 covers and other expenses that I will have in addition to that.
So all of that to say…YOU GUYS ARE SERIOUSLY AMAZING!
God’s provision in all of this has been nothing short of incredible.
