Wow, month 4 has already arrived and we find that this is a month of change.
We have new squad leaders, new teams in a new country with new ministries! We were sad to say goodbye to Andrew, Crystal and Beka, but we know that God has big things in store for them. We were happy to welcome Mike Hall, Lauren Black, and Chelsea Cordell to the remaining members of L2B and form the new team Salty Sheep! Tiffany has also accepted some new responsibilities starting this month as well. We are now co-leaders for this new team and we are excited to see how God is going to use us together in ministry. Please keep us and our new team in your prayers!
Introducing, The Salty Sheep!!
Chelsea O, Lauren, Genae, Chelsea C, Tiffany, Justin, Mike
For Salty Sheep’s first ministry we find ourselves in Kajang, Malaysia! It is right outside of the capital city of Kuala Lumpor. Kajang is a large, buzzing city which is nothing of what we thought Malaysia would look like. We are working with pastors from from a large multicultural church that has around 3 or 4 services that cater to the different ethnicities and languages.
Our first week of ministry has been non stop since we arrived. We have been involved with churches, small groups, a kindergarten, an orphanage, a refugee school, and an aboriginal community. We have taught english, preached, played games, sang songs, shared testimonies, performed skits, painted curbs, swept and mopped houses, been sightseeing and eaten copious amounts of food (Malaysia is a food culture so we found out). And this is only week one of our time here in Malaysia!!

As we move into week two we will travel up north close to the Thailand border and work with some natives there. It will be quite a change from the city life we have become accustomed to working in the past few months. We look forward to the challenges and growth it will bring! We are excited to serve and bring the kingdom of God to earth even in the most remote places!
