Training Camp Update
There is a buzz of anticipation around the Office as we prepare for the arrival of the upcoming World Race Training Camp. I hope you all are just as excited as we are. We have some great things in store, and can’t wait to walk this journey along side you. See you in a week!!

1) World Race Marketplace
For the first time in the history of The World Race we are opening up the doors to what we are calling “The World Race Marketplace.” We will have CD’s by our amazing worship leader Jonathan David Helser, World Race merchandise, as well as merchandise from various charities.
We have several alumni racers that have either started charities or partnered with charities and we would like to support them. The alumni racers will be there to tell you about the charities and will provide ways for you to support them in bringing Kingdom to this world.
World Race Merchandise
We are excited to let you know for the first time ever, we will be offering official World Race materials to purchase at training camp. These items will cost between $1-$15. At this time, these items will only be offered at training camp and there are limited supplies. We will be providing deep discounts for packages containing multiple items. We will also be discounting certain items purchased in large quantities (to send to donors or to help with fundraising). Here are the list of items that will be available for purchase.

Outpour Movement (represented by Casey Wells)
Outpour Movement is a non-profit organization. Funds go towards current Outpour projects:
– The Refuge: a children’s home in the middle of a Burmese refugee camp on the Thai border
– The Promised Land: a children’s home that is being built with land for gardens / self sustaining projects
– Crossroads: sports outreach / soccer team, music ministry / outreach, youth ministry, working in schools and partnered with boarding homes for children
– Burma Impact: sending relief aid into Burma

Vietnam Orphans Hope (represented by Bill Bush)
VOHF is serving to begin an orphanage in Vietnam and to restore relationships between Vietnam Vets and the country in which they served during war. As an orphanage, they will be taking in kids to help give them hope and dignity and raising them out of the mire they may live in
VOHF will have the following for sale:

Threads of Hope (represented by Chris and Holli Scott)
Threads of Hope assists the economically oppressed people in the Philippines by empowering women and families with the opportunity to make bracelets and other such things to provide an income for themselves. The money primarily is used to help meet the spiritual, physical, and educational needs of the community.
Threads of Hope will have the following for sale:

Rahab’s Rope is offering a fundraiser to all World Race participants. 30% of every item you sell goes into your support account. The rest goes to help Rahab’s Rope fight human trafficking in India. Fundraising items include jewelry and gift items. Contact [email protected] for more information, or to request a fundraising kit.
What is Rahab’s Rope?
Rahab’s Rope is a partnering ministry of the World Race that exists to rescue women and children from sex-trafficking. World Race teams that route through India often work at Rahab’s Rope facilities in their prevention and aftercare programs.
3) Represent your Squad
Every training camp we have an event called Squad Wars. It is an intense night that puts squad vs squad to see who will come out on top. One of the ways you will be scored is squad pride. Each squad has been assigned a color so make sure to pack some cloths of your squad color to REPRESENT!
