What's up W Squad? My name is Bill Swan, and I get the privilege of being one of your squad leaders on the World Race! I'll spend the first 4 months investing in you guys and living life with all of you. It's going to be awesome.
I'm 28 and I'm married to Katie the most incredible woman of God you'll ever meet! I love doing life and ministry with her. We went on the World Race in January 2011, and God rocked our world. I can't wait for you guys to have this experience! I love riding motorcycles, volleyball, frisbee golf, and pretty much anything I can do with other people. My favorite genres of music are classic rock and Christian Rap. Those two fit together, right? I come from a small town in PA called North East, and our high school mascot was the Fighting Grapepickers. Yeah, I'm actually serious about that. Intimidated, aren't you?
I went to Moody Bible Institute where I majored in youth ministry, after which I was a youth pastor for 3 years. After realizing my incompetence to deal with brokenness, I went back to school and got a masters in counseling (which was the first part of God wrecking my world and teaching me about who I am). I love the journey that God has taken me on, and I'm pretty sure He's only getting started with me.
