Hello from the Rodriguez's!!! I have spoken to many of you already (and have left several messages for others of you-wink wink) notifying you that I am your main contact from now until the time that you leave for the Race. In the picture above I was in Ukraine on my Race. The good looking guy next to me became my husband last August–Whoo Hoo! Jake also works for Adventures In Missions in the Logistics department. He is the one who decides what countries you will minister in and a whole bunch of other things. We are both so happy to serve your squad.
There are currently 64 of you, and soon that number will climb to 150. At training camp which will most likely be scheduled in late Spring we will divide all of you into 3 squads and then into teams of ~7.
There are several things that we need you to do before training camp, and that is why you have me as your main contact. I will help you through the paperwork, crazy days where all of this seems like too much and come July 1st, I assure you that you will be ready for this adventure.
My business hours are 9:00-4;30pm Monday-Friday. Please feel free to contact me as often as you need:
Phone: 770-983-1060 ext 225
Email: [email protected]
My Blog: marisabanas.theworldrace.org
I also use my work cell quite often. If for some reason my personal number shows up on your phone, please call me back by dialing the work phone number listed above. It is important for my santiy and accuracy that I do not receive work calls during non-working hours. I appreciate your help in this.
Lastly, there will be a temporary change in my work hours next week. The AIM office will be closed today (Friday) and Monday due to the conference that we are having. Also, next week from November 1st-November 4th I will be working night hours–so all of you who have not been able to reach me during the day can now reach me from 5:30pm to 9:00pm Monday thru Thursday–Please take advantage of this, it doesn't happen often.
***Also, I am working on figuring out a way to disable the comments that get emailed to you. I have a feeling that all of you are getting overloaded with responses. I will get back to you as soon as I can figure that out
.
Joyfully,
Marisa Rodriguez
