It’s hard to believe month one of The World Race has come and gone. We were so blessed to have been welcomed into our hosts home and to have met so many great people.
It was sad to leave our host and church family, as well as the kids at Leratong. They told us many times how much they appreciated us being there to help and support them. I wanted to pass that along to my supporters because without you, it wouldn’t have happened. Thank you!
I couldn’t have asked for a better country to start off with. I will miss my host family, the worship team, the college students, and the children so much. I’ll miss my morning coffee on the front porch of our house, makoenyas and chocolate from the local market, and even the rooster that liked to crow at 4 in the morning. I’ll miss it all.
What I hope to take away from Lesotho is the kindness and peace of the country and its people. I want to live as simply and happy as they do. I left a little piece of my heart there, and I have I feeling I will with each country along the way.
Thank you to my supporters for your kind thoughts, prayers, encouragement, and support!
