Hi everyone!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page! Here’s a brief introduction about myself and how God is working in my life!
My name is Julienne Tuterow. I grew up with my Mom, Dad, and younger sister in the small town of Beech Grove, Indiana. If you’re not familiar with this area, Beech Grove is sort of a suburb of Indianapolis. I am twenty-three years old and I am currently pursing a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. I absolutely love children and work as a Pre-kindergarten teacher at University Heights United Methodist Children’s Center.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and exploring outdoors! A few of my favorite activities include camping, hiking, drinking coffee, reading, and playing soccer.
I was raised in a Methodist church (where I currently work) but now attend Emmanuel Church of Greenwood. I love it there! I was baptized as a baby but made the choice on my own to give my life to Christ at church camp when I was twelve years old. Since then God has brought me through quite the journey as I have learned to trust and rely on him, instead of myself alone, and live to encourage and spread his love to others. The Lord has brought much peace into my life, especially throughout this past year, and has taught me to be compassionate and kind.
Growing up I always knew I wanted to live my life in a way that I could help others, which is why I decided to pursue a career in education. I never considered serving as a missionary until maybe a year ago, however, I had this undeniable feeling of needing to leave the place I grew up and help others. I became very determined to seek the place God was calling me to. I believe that it is The World Race. My goal for this mission trip is to spread God’s love and mercy to those places in need by serving in the communities in whichever way he calls us to. Through this journey, I hope to grow closer with the Lord and share the blessings he has bestowed upon me with everyone I meet along the way. Christ encourages each of us to love and be kind to one another. My calling is to share those qualities with others through the grace of God.
I would truly appreciate your prayers. Please prayer for myself, my team, and the nations we will be serving in. Secondly, each world racer is required to fund raise for our mission trip. In order to leave fully funded for this trip I will need to raise $16,961. This amount includes all traveling expenses, food, housing, and insurance. If you feel moved to help sponsor this wonderful cause, you can donate through the “Support Me” tab on this webpage.
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter and partnering with me to serve God’s Kingdom!
