So I have been in Romania for a little over two weeks now and one week of that has been doing ministry.

This month our ministry is to help the Seventh Spring Christian Camp get the grounds ready for the summer season. Which means that most of our “ministry” will be doing work and not being around very many people.

In the last week I have pulled weeds, mowed tall grass, trimmed some trees, trimmed rose bushes to help then grow better, helped clean the tool shed and started working on painting the window frames on the kid’s dorm house.

Sometimes when it comes to writing a blog I just don’t know what I’m going to say. Because sometimes the ministry is not really that exciting and the things God is teaching me are subtle and don’t seem very blog worthy.

This last week has just been some good reflection time on what God has already done in my life these last eight months. Thinking about all the “weeds” He has already pulled up in my life. I am very thankful for all I have experienced on the World Race as it has helped me “grow” closer to the Lover of My Soul.

The World Race is not for everyone but for me it was what God decided to use as His “shovel” to dig out the bad and “plant” His beauty and truth deeper into my life.

After this month there are only two more months left until the end of this trip. But even though I know readjusting to being in the U.S. will be hard, this is not the end of something great but just the beginning of something amazing.

“For I Know the plans I have for you Declares the Lord….”
