John Kelly, a little Haitian boy that has become like my shadow. He is six years old and follows me and my team around everywhere. He does not know a lot of English so one might think it would be hard to communicate with him. It’s not hard but in some ways it can be difficult, your face is an amazing thing and can communicate so much when you don’t have the words to speak.

He smiles and laughs all the time and it brings joy to my heart. He lives with his Parents and Grandparents. He has told us that he will start school in a week or two. He goes with us to V.B.S. and we taught the song: My God is so Big, he sings it all the time now. I was told that this is the first time he has really gone to church as his parents did not think he was old enough before now. I have had fun teaching him how to play Uno and enjoying laughing with him. Yesterday he said he wants to be my husband. I love that kid so much!

It will be sad to leave him and all the other kids I have had the privilege to play with here in Haiti. I know there will be a lot more kids to love and pour into as I travel from country to country. While I am here I will love on him as much as I can. The rest is up to God.
