People are always talking about time. The right time, wrong time, on time, good timing, horrible timing, perfect timing and Gods timing.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 (NIV)
"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend,a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace."

In our society today we are all about spending our time wisely. We have “fast” food so we spend less time eating and more time on the “important” things.  We are in a “now” time. We want everything now, not in a week or a few days or in a few hours but right now!! So we often take this mentality into our relationship with God. When we pray it is often: God I need this now and in a week I will need this other thing. At least that is how I find myself praying sometimes.

So keeping this mindset in mind, I had a financial deadline on Aug. 18th. So I was fundraising and trying as hard as I could to make sure I had the money in on time. I had 7 days left and $2,000 dollars still to raise. I was overwhelmed and asking “God where are you?” I wanted a meirical but I wanted it on my time table. I was at my wits end. I was at the point of throwing up my hands and saying “ok, God it’s all you I can’t do this on my own.” You know what? That’s what God was waiting for. For me to let go and “let God”, to let go of my little time table and I can do anything altitude and let God be God.

When you let go and let God then everything is possible. On the last day of my deadline I still needed $500. Guess what? By the end of the day I had met my goal exceeding it by $47!!!!!

Being in a place of total surrender and trust in God is the perfect place to be. God’s timing is perfect because it’s all God’s time. Nothing is ours but what God gives to us. And you know what? That’s what I want, I want what God desires for me.
It is my desire that you would join me in trying to live a life in total trust of God’s timing.

God’s timing is perfect!!

Psalm 18:30
"As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him."

Deuteronomy 32:4
He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.
