We finished The Race two months ago.
Can we first take a second and say how wild that is? Its flown by and some days it feels like I just stepped off that plane back onto American soil.
Some of you may be wondering what comes next for me now…I’ve been wondering that myself!!
So heres the scoop as I now know it.
For the time being, I’ve moved back home with my dad and two sisters just North of Atlanta. Ive landed some babysitting and pet sitting jobs within the area which has been great while I looked for a more steady job! Ive been blessed to meet some good families who have called me back with more jobs! The Lord has been providing me with that work for the past couple weeks as I’ve searched and gone for interviews and struggled with finding purpose in everyday life.
About two weeks ago I interviewed for a job at Moe’s Southwest Grill, they are opening up a location literally a mile from our house so I went out and got the job! Im starting at base level with the intent to climb the ladder while I’m there and things once I learn some more. So all of last week I was training at another location and this week our store is finished enough for us to get in and do some training and then doors open later this week!
So I’m doing full time at Moe’s and then sitting on the side a couple evenings a week (trying to get a couple evenings a week).
NOW FOR THE FUN STUFF
I really just want to go to the darkest places of the sex industry and bring Kingdom. So thats what I’m planning on doing 🙂
As of right now I’m communicating with several organizations in four different countries and asking if id be able to come and be a part of their ministry for 3-4 weeks during summer 2016.
Ive got a pretty hardy list already and I’ve received positive responses after sharing my heart and some of my experiences!
As of right now its looking like ill go to Brazil, Amsterdam, Thailand, and The Philippines BUT that could change!
most of these organizations are saying to hold off until the new year to really start nailing down some of the details because they just don’t know that far out what its going to look like, however, its all very promising!
Id be going on my own, not under any sort of organization … Im open to that changing. I just don’t know what that would look like.
Now that I’ve reached out to so many people and ministries I’m sorta taking a step back from it all for a little while and allowing the Lord just to move and then soon ill start asking about it all again. Re-comfirming what he’s said and seeing if other doors have been opened and just taking time to re-align with His plan instead of my own.
So we will see!!!!
The whole focus and heart behind going would be heavily on the streets… I love the streets… Papa God just seems to burst to life unlike any other in those places so Im going, wanting to be a part of outreach efforts and learn from people who’ve done it and done it well in these places. Another huge focus of mine would be to encourage those who do this thing, day in and day out…it gets hard and tiring! But to offer my own passion and excitement and come with fresh wind and fire!
I also see the Lord taking this and expanding it into something bigger one day so I want to establish good solid relationships with these organizations. I don’t want to just be a one time visitor, I want to invest and keep contact even after I’ve left …then go back and visit again!
And I really just want to see what the Lord would do with sons and daughters who carry his heart well and walk in their power and authority through Holy Spirit …those who would be completely submitted to His will ..no matter what He might say, do or ask of us. That we maybe wouldnt have to wait season after season after season to see a place transformed but that it could happen in moments.
All of that AND! Im hoping to possibly lead one or two of Adventures in Missions short term trips (the ones that are a week to ten days) that specifically focus on sex trafficking ! Those also wouldnt be until Spring 2016 🙂
Ill be here a minute but the dreams and visions are stirring 😀 Ill let y’all know more as I know more but just in case some of y’all were wondering what was up next…this is what I know so far and I’m excited to share the rest with you as it all unfolds !!! 😀
