150 goodie bags only took but an hour to give out through the streets of Pakse, Laos.
Thank you for making this act of Love possible! Y’all generously gave us the funding to make such a thing possible and have more impact that we ourselves could of ever had.
I wouldn’t have expected the response we got but it was awesome! The Laos people flocked to us and were grabbing bags for themselves along with friends- they had smiles on their faces and were quick to wish us a Merry Christmas right back.
The tourist had no idea what to think lol they were confused and a few times didnt even take the gift. They were caught so off guard and it look a moment for them to reach out their hand and receive a few pieces of chocolate from a stranger who just wanted to be Love to them on such a special day while they were away from home and away from people they loved.
There were two sets of people I got to talk to about their travels and why they were in Laos on Christmas, there were no fireworks that went off or anything like that, they could have, but thats not what happened. Instead we just got to take people off guard that there would be people wanting to give them a gift out of Love on Christmas day in a foreign land.
It was so sweet to see people receive even when they were confused.
Im pretty big on the fact that we don’t need to go around saying the name of Jesus necessarily but just to be Love in the places you walk. We got to do that this Christmas in Laos.
Can we stop attaching strings? Stop trying to get our theology to become others, stop with our agendas, stop thinking we are the ones that lead people to convert to some religion.
Love is hard to manifest. Love is simple.
