Y’all….There is literally 5 weeks before my squad launches!
We got the email yesterday letting us know that we will launch from Atlanta 🙂 we are due on the 6th of September for another two days of training before we head out of the states! ….thats.just.wild.
To be completely real – this was the first panic moment I’ve had about the race. I read that email and everything suddenly became VERY real …lol I find it so funny that the email made it more real than, oh I don’t know, training camp?! True story 🙂
It was scary to read…as I lay there hammocking in a local park taking all this info in the Lord said “ask me again why I’ve told you to go” and then all the images he had given me about the race came flooding back to memory…all the visions he had given me for the race were suddenly back and it was an invitation to join in on the ride again 🙂
Before I get to launch though, I’m still in need of meeting my fundraising check point of at least $7,500, Im still several hundred dollars away and I need your help 🙂 right now I have and online event running from now until launch where I am giving you the opportunity to donate for every mile ill travel over the 11 months.
So ive broken it down for you to see how many miles ill be covering from location to location over the next 11 months.
Atlanta – India: 8,520
India – Nepal : 629
Nepal -Thailand: 1,380
Thailand – Laos : 292
Laos – Cambodia: 530
Cambodia – Vietnam : 394
Vietnam-Malaysia : 1,652
Malaysia – Japan: 3,190
Japan – China: 1,892
China – Mongolia: 760
Mongolia – Philippines: 2,567
Philippines – Atlanta: 8,779
Total miles = 30,585…round up to make calculations easier to : 30,600 miles!!!!
So here are some options of how to give per every 100 miles:
$.05 every hundred miles = $15.30 X 20 people = $306
$.10 every hundred miles = $30.60 X 20 people =$612
$.50 every hundred miles =$153 X 11 people =$1,683
$1 every hundred miles = $306 X 5 people = $1,530
$1.50 every hundred miles = $459 X 5 people = $2,295
Potential Total of : $6,426
