How’s it going? The desire and excitement to be a part of the all Asia World Race route only increases! I’ve personally been rocked to the core through knowing, experiencing, and encountering the love of Jesus and all I know to do is to share that with some more of His kiddos. My heart feels most heavily for this specific part of the world and I had already been asking and praying about going on the World Race when the all Asia route was posted. Naturally I exploded with excitement when the Lord gave me the ‘go ahead’.
The World Race is an 11 month mission trip to 11 different countries- one month in each! Before we launch in September, we will attend a ten day training camp this upcoming summer where we will get to bring our gear and prepare for the mission field with our team (first time we will all get to meet!). While on the field, we will get to partner with many different types of ministries, I don’t yet know any specifics but I am willing to bank on the fact that we will get to work with orphans, families, schools, building projects, prostitution/red light districts, churches, entire communities etc. Not only will I have the amazing opportunity to serve and love others while on the Race but I will also receive discipleship from leaders, coaches and mentors from the organization.
I know that this experience will impact me just as much if not more than those I will get to minister to. My prayer is to show unconditional love with no strings attached just as the Lord has done for me. I’m all about the pursuit of our Father and can only imagine the impact it would have on me if someone came half way around the world to just love on me. I know that the 11 months on the Race will also be a time of healing, freedom and breakthrough for myself which won’t always be easy but well worth it. I anticipate that I will be a hot mess for these 11 months, knowing that I will break for those I meet and be dying more to myself.
Without you, this opportunity isn’t even an option for me. Your prayers are powerful and I ask that you would be in prayer for me even now and especially while I am out on the field. There is tremendous breakthrough found in prayer and I earnestly ask for it! I also ask that you will consider financially supporting me and be a part of sending me on the Race. The total cost of the trip is $16,254, which means if 10 people commit to giving $100 a month for 8 months I will be just about halfway funded. If you choose to give online or through mail you are able to specify if you would like for your donation to be a monthly commitment. (view menu on the left under my picture). These monthly donations are crucial, especially now in order to pay for initial costs.

Over the next several months I’ll be keeping in touch to share more about my trip and what the Lord is doing in my life – I hope we will get to both share what He is doing in both our lives! I cannot wait to be boarding that plane!!! The whole thing still seems surreal J but I am SO excited!!!
