“She’s beautiful. She’s valued. She’s a daughter of God. Tonight she will be purchased for sex. She’s worth more.”
Here’s a quick update on what my team- Lovewell will be doing this month. We will be working along with team Genuine Overflow to show God’s love to women, men, children. We are super stoked to be working with Lighthouse in Action – founded by Emmi.
Some of us will be working in the coffee shop (Zion Cafe) to help build relationships with some of the girls who were saved from the trafficking industry. We want to love on them and be super intentional with getting to know them and showing them God’s love.
We will also be prayer walking during the day and afternoon to help prepare and equip us for each ministry. Some of us will be visiting the local temples to talk with monks during their “monk chats”. Also, we will get to visit the slums and love on the families and kiddos.
One of the ministries I’m most excited about is bar ministry. We will have a daytime and nighttime bar ministry. The cry of my heart is God uses each one of us to reach out to these women and lady-boys. I want Him to use my story to give Him glory. I want God to use me to show His love He’s shown me. To let them know they are worth so much more than sex, being abused emotionally and physically, etc. They are daughters of God, they are loved by Him, valued, adored, beautiful, cherished. They are worth so much more!
