We just got back from our day at Daughters and I just wanted to share with you how the day ended.  The whole day was fantastic and the last thing was just the cherry on top!  
Many of the women and men are sewing all day long.  They make beautiful bags and clothing etc.  With sewing many of them are focused on what they do and do not move very much so the staff is just concerned about posture and stretching.  Well, two of our girls (Merridith and Jenny) took on the task of having a “stretch and exercise” time with them two times a day right after their breaks.  So this afternoon at 3:30 they had their first one.  Try to imagine this… about 30 people out on this balcony that was about 4 1/2 feet wide.  This was the first time they had done something like this and the whole time there was just this beautiful laughter floating through the air.  Everyone was smiling and giggling and trying to follow the stretches.  Laughter really broke out when Merridith had them bend over to touch their toes and then do jumping jacks! Ummm…jumping jacks in a small area is quite humorous!
Ending the day with laughter and exercise/stretching was definitely the cherry on top!
