Tomorrow I leave for training camp!! I can hardly believe it. As I pack and prepare, I feel the closeness and realness of next year’s journey. I have prayed often for the time we will have a training camp. During the next two weeks…I will meet my family for the next year. I will hear from incredibly amazing and godly speakers. I will be broken and divested of all things that burden me and that are not of Christ. My teammates and I will be built back up, strengthened and united as the body of Christ.
We will prepare for war. I will be stretched, and forced to be vulnerable and utterly transparent (something that does not come easy). I will see a clearer picture of God’s heart and learn to live as a disciple. I will be pushed physically. We will earnestly cover the year in prayer, and rest in the Word. To say the least it will jammed pack and spiritually, emotionally and physically exhausting, but it will guide me close to the foot of the cross and it will be a time of sweet bonding. I am excited for this time and the foundation it will set for the coming year.

I thank each of you for the way you have supported me thus far. Just the fact that you are reading this means so much. I ask for your prayers during this time of training. Pray for the Spirit to be intensely present. Pray for openness and team dynamics that work to glorify our God. Pray for rest and peace in the Lord – this will be a time of early mornings, late nights, much change and travel to the depths of ourselves. Pray that each of us would be so captivated by Christ and His story and His purpose.

Much love and the peace of Christ to you.

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual

hosts of wickedness in the supernatural places. Therefore
take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with

truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. And for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
