The ministry we are partnered with is Generation for Salvation or Generación Preparada para Salvación (GPS). This month, 5 of our 6 World Race teams are partnered with GPS Ministries throughout the country. Our ministry contacts are Victor Reyes and Sara Romero, two young adults who love the Lord and want His Kingdom advanced in the areas they live in.
Ministry in El Salvador is quite different from our ministry in Guatemala. The ministry schedule here is much less structured; there is more room for adjustments to our weekly ministry schedule. We do a lot of prayer walking in poor communities, play with kids during their school recesses, evangelize in schools, and evangelize in rural communities. These ministries are done in the later part of the morning or the afternoon.
We attend church service about 4 times a week (Wed. evening, Fri. evening, Saturday afternoon, and Sunday evening). During some services we lead prayers, lead worship, perform dramas, and/or share testimonies.
