Hi friends!
This is going to be a short blog, but wanted to let everyone know that I made it safely to my first destination Romania 🙂 After a looooong day of travel I am finally here! I'm having a great time so far and I can already see the Lord moving in X squad in huge ways. I flew Dallas to Austin, Austin to JFK (where I met up with everyone), and then we all flew to Romania with one super quick layover in Dublin, Ireland. I thought I would be escaping that terrible Oklahoma heat, but I feel like it's just as hot here! And unfortunately I have no pictures to post, my camera has not left my bag yet because it is currently located in the very bottom :/
One thing they teach you about the World Race is to drop any expectations you may have and know that changes will happen. A few teams got switched around and now instead of spending the whole month in Romania we are only spending a week here. For our first official ministry month we will be going to Moldova!!! Some of the other teams are being sent to Bulgaria and Serbia. All I know is that we will be working with a family who does church plants and runs a boys home, a lot of who have substance abuse problems. So at the end of the week we will be boarding a train for Moldova!
Thank you for all your prayers and support, I love you all!
