The life of a missionary is a life of living by faith. This friends, is the most dangerous thing I can think of.

When you live by faith alone, there are two outcomes:

  1. You will look like a FOOL to men when it doesn’t happen OR
  2. God will be GLORIFIED in a way that is only attributable to Him.  It’s undeniable. When you depend solely on Christ for every need, you take a risk.

The greatest part of this is when He comes through (the way he promises His sons and daughters) the ONLY one who can receive the glory is God.

The beautiful thing is that a “fool” in the eyes of the world is a son after his Father’s heart to God.

Abraham put his only son who he waited a century to have on an altar and was prepared to take a life he cherished more than own.

Four men ripped open a rooftop in front of dozens of people and lowered their crippled friend in front of a Man named Jesus because they heard rumors He could heal the lame.

Pretty foolish acts right? But the outcomes are UNDENIABLE! Jesus Christ was born from the very line of that boy who lay on that altar. The man lowered into the room? Completely healed.

That is a reality can change peoples’ lives for eternity. I know that is the journey and the mission of the World Race; to show us what it means to walk out a blind faith life style and pursue Christ relentlessly. What we are racing after is to die to ourselves EVERY DAY and live completely abandoned to our own will and available only to God’s will.

I’ll risk being a fool for the Man that died for me so that His glory will be made known to those who need Him.
