Today was our final day of ministry on The World Race. We led a church service from start to finish. It was a great honor for a pastor that we have never met to invite us to led his church to the Throne of Grace. We have finished the work that was entrusted to us and welcome this season’s close, so that a new season may open. We will land in the United States on Sunday May 28th (six days from today).
I want to thank all of you for going with me on this journey. You were there with us in every church, every home, every street, every bar, every village. You were alongside me with the child prostitute, the prisoner, the drunkard and drug-addict, the homeless, the blind, deaf, mute, and disabled, and so many more broken and desperate people. You encouraged me in my strengths and my weaknesses. You showed me the heart of God with every prayer, every financial gift, and every blessing.

I have learned so much and yet know so little. I have gone so far and yet come so short. I was weak yet I had strength. I found healing yet I am broken. I have served the Lord yet been so vain.
In the words of Brennan Manning,
“The road I have traveled….is pockmarked by disastrous victories and magnificent defeats, soul-diminishing successes and life-enhancing failures. Seasons of fidelity and betrayal, periods of consolation and desolation, zeal and apathy are not unknown to me.”
