TEAM MOR3 in CHINA
I spent the past month in China. I couldn’t advertise it because it would bring unwanted attention to us while we were there. My team and our contact, lived in a small two bedroom apartment with one bathroom. That’s nine people sharing
one toilet and shower!
We spent our time there: teaching English, praying over the community and
local families, visiting college campuses to make bonds and relationships,
leading daily devotionals, pouring into our contact , his wife, and his 1 and 1/2
year old son, and spending some much needed quality time with each other
on my team.

Out of all the months on the race, the month I spent in China was one of the hardest for me spiritually speaking. I couldn’t use my voice to share Jesus, so I had to rely on the way I live and the light that beams from me. Because of the laws in China you have to be careful of what you say and when you say it, or you might draw attention from the wrong people. Our contact has been working very diligently for many years to reach the Chinese people, so I had to be careful not to bring all that attention down on my contact, his wife, and his one and a half year old son.

This took an incredible amout of faith on my part. More faith than I had. Many times I struggled with it because I felt that I had to “do” something rather than just “be”. I had gotten so used to using my voice, that it was hard for me to believe that God can work strictly through my actions and how I interact with people. The great thing about Jesus, is that He doesn’t have to use my voice to work through me. He can use absolutely anything. In this case, He used my life. My actions. Like they say, actions speak louder than words.
The month I spent in China transformed my faith. I know without a shadow of a doubt that God showed Himself in me and I didn’t say a word. I just lived. My life is ministry. My life is worship. My life is evangelism. My life is for Jesus to use any way He chooses.
I am His!
Jesus is Lord!!!!
