Well, here it goes…
I live in Charlotte, NC and I teach 4 and 5 year olds. I love my job and my life here. So why leave that?Â
In my walk with God I have learned that I don’t have to have all the answers, and things don’t always have to make sense to follow where He is leading. If I had the answers, I wouldn’t have to trust. It’s been those times of trusting Him as I enter the unknown that I have grown the most and seen His amazing power. And I truly believe he is leading me to go on this trip. Plus it sounds awesome and when else am I going to get the chance to go around the world with the mission of loving and serving people?!
What else?…
I have an awesome family: (the picture pretty much says it all)
Inludes two wonderful parents, and older brother and two younger sisters, plus this past summer we added a new brother and sister-in-law!
A few randoms:
-I love everything that has to do with sports: playing or watching, especially if the cubs or bears are involved.
-I’m pretty sure I will miss my bed more than anything else while I’m on this trip.
-My favorite place is our cabin in the north woods of Wisconsin and wish I could go there more often.
-I’m working towards Katherine Heigel’s record of number of times you can be a bridesmaid.
-I could not have been blessed with better friends than the ones I have, even if I don’t get to see some of them very often
