Just had a whole post done and it vanished…here’s take 2 and then SLEEP!
We are leaving in about ONE MONTH for INDIA! Funding is still coming in, and we are getting packed up, prepared, and ready to go for 11 months!
Our squad (thanks to awesome idea by squadmate Katie Kroeger) is having a 24 hour prayer vigil from midnight (aka NOW) until midnight tomorrow!
YOU ARE INVITED!!! You’re on this adventure and mission with us! We absolutely cannot tell you how thankful and grateful we are for you. YOU are here for a reason! So passionate about this fact! Each…EACH of you. You will have a prayer, an insight, and understanding, a fervor, an encouragement that would not exist and will not be voiced if you weren’t here and didn’t care. We need you and appreciate you more than you know!
We are praying in hour increments today. Please take an hour, a half hour, even 15 minutes to stop and join your WORLD RACE ASIA TEAM :o) in this incredible cause.
Please pray for…
- Everyone’s funding to come in! (Thank you for your support!)
- Squad (all of us) and Team (our small groups) unity and strength
- Sweet times with God and family and friends
- Everything…all the details (and there are a lot) to get completed…and peacefully.
- Partnerships between senders and goers to be strengthened as one unified TEAM! Can you tell we mean it :o)? We need you guys as much as any of us going! And we CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH!
- Also heavy on the heart…prayer for the Christians in Iraq. If you haven’t heard about this yet, please take a look. If you live in the DC area, there is a prayer meeting outside the White House at 11:30am this Saturday, August 9th. If not, just take a break and join in spirit. What affects one person affects us all.
