Wow!  THANK YOU!  I just got onto a computer for the first time in 2 weeks and was able to see the new supporters!  I couldn’t log in from my phone and the internet was spotty at best even when I tried.  God is sooo good!  There has been so much that has happened in the last 2 weeks in Ethiopia that I can’t begin to describe it.  I will try, I sure will.  For whatever reason God has me traveling the world right now…a pre World Race world race :o).  I am now in Italy (I’m in Italy!  Kept doing that with Africa too this week!…every so often…We’re in Africa!) visiting with friends…Heather Morgan and fam.  This was all planned before God very clearly directed to The World Race (see About Me and This Journey).  At first when I realized the timeline I was nervous and scared that I would be burnt out before The World Race started.  I took this before God and heard the still small voice say, “Julia, I always love when you’re in a place that you can’t do something…without Me :o).”  And then it turned from literal fear to joy!  Thank you, Jesus!  I got sick for about 24 hours while in Ethiopia and realized how much I am not looking forward to that potential part of The World Race.  It’s really just not fun.  So, praying that God keeps that on the DL for the whole lot of us.  Got some experience with squatty potties and can now use them with pants…embarrassing to share a little, but a big accomplishment!  And there is so much more in depth stuff that happened, but that will take a little while to unpack, and so the emphasis is now on squatty potties and sickness…oh my.  I just realized that it would be fun to put in one more thing so it looks like “Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!” but I didn’t start with that in mind and my brain is apparently not going to cooperate with that right now.

I need to head to bed!  It’s 1:41AM over here and we’re doing some sight seeing tomorrow.  THANK YOU to all of you supporters who just joined Team SUSHI: Let’s Roll!  Sending U Some Hope Internationally!  I’m sorry I haven’t gotten to contact you yet with a personal THANK YOU!, but know you are awesome and so appreciated!!!  You’re joining an incredible, God-led cause and are going to be there with me each step of the way!  Please continue to pray!  Financially, we exceeded the first goal of $3,500 by June 13 and are on our way to goal two of $7,500 by August 12 and $11,000 by August 30!  God, help us exceed that, too :o)!  I’d personally love to be fully funded by then!

God’s taught me so much through this fundraising process as I know He called me to completely raise these funds, but not only that, to raise a team, a support network, allowing people to invest in this mission and calling those He desires to come in spirit and prayer and encouragement and financial gifts.  As I look at the names, dear God, literally, what amazing crew He has coming with me!  SO, SO grateful for you.

I’ll try to get back on soon enough to post some pics and share some stories.

For now, goodnight, God bless you, and thank you in African and Italian…Ameseginalehu! Grazie!
